What is Pathway?
At GBS Dubai, you begin your studies in one of the world’s fastest-growing international education hubs. Dubai combines cultures, industries and opportunities to give students a rich, practical and globally connected learning experience.
When you begin your education here, you enter a pathway that takes you through British qualification levels step by step. You can then choose where to complete your degree. This could be in the UAE, United Kingdom, Europe, US or other global locations through the GEDU Global network or Pearson partner universities around the globe.
At GBS Dubai, we deliver programmes through British Pearson Education, giving you access to internationally recognised qualifications that align seamlessly with the UK’s level-based education system.
Understanding the UK education levels
The UK education system is like a ladder with different steps. Each step, or level, gives you credits that are recognised worldwide. This makes it easier to study step by step, move at your own pace, and choose where you want to complete your degree.

Progression from GBS Dubai to global opportunities
At GBS Dubai, our pathway is designed to give students a clear and structured route from their Higher National Diploma to completing a UK bachelor's degree abroad. Once you complete your HND in Dubai, you have the opportunity to move to Level 6 and earn your bachelor’s degree at one of GEDU’s global campuses or partner universities.
