GBS Dubai hosted a Virtual Career Fair in partnership with Career OS and Highered, connecting students with recruitment experts from globally recognised organisations and industry leaders for valuable career insights and employability guidance.
GBS Dubai recently hosted a Virtual Career Fair in partnership with Career OS and Highered, bringing together students, recruitment experts and global industry leaders for an engaging and insightful employability-focused experience.
The event reflected GEDU’s continued commitment to supporting students beyond the classroom by creating meaningful opportunities for career development, industry exposure and professional growth.
Students had the opportunity to hear directly from recruitment professionals representing globally recognised organisations including Coca-Cola, SAP, Monzo Bank, N26, Klaviyo, Gartner and Euroclear. Through expert-led discussions and interactive sessions, students gained valuable insight into what employers expect from candidates in today’s competitive global job market.
One of the key highlights of the event was the session led by Tom Lawrence, a global careers specialist who has previously led career development programmes at Oxford and Saïd Business School. His session focused on interview preparation, CV strategy, employability expectations and the importance of professional readiness when pursuing internships and career opportunities.
The event also featured Björn Martin from Euroclear, who shared industry perspectives and practical guidance for students preparing to enter international work environments.
