Internal Audit Career Awareness Session in collaboration with UAE IAA

In collaboration with the UAE IAA - UAE Internal Auditors Association, GBS Dubai hosted an Internal Audit Career Awareness Session, introducing students to career opportunities, certifications and industry insights within the field of internal audit.
As part of International Internal Audit Month, GBS Dubai hosted an Internal Audit Career Awareness Session in collaboration with the UAE Internal Auditors Association(IAA), providing students with valuable industry insight into one of today’s increasingly important professional fields.
The session was led by UAE IAA Ambassador Mr. Ali Ramadan, CFE, GRCP, GRCA, with the support of Mr. Mohamed Kandeil, CIA, CA, ICA, VCD, TPD, and organised by Ms. Salma Bagsair, Training Director at UAE IAA.
Designed to introduce students to the evolving landscape of internal audit, the session explored the growing role of internal auditors in supporting organisations through fraud prevention, risk management, governance, compliance and ethical business practices.
Students also gained insight into the global demand for internal audit professionals, international certifications within the field and the wide range of career pathways available across industries.
Through practical discussions and expert-led guidance, the session helped students better understand how internal audit contributes to organisational performance and long-term business sustainability in today’s complex professional environment.
At GBS Dubai, industry engagement remains an important part of the student learning experience.
