Formative Assessment
Formative assessments form an essential element of your studies. Although they don’t count directly towards your final grade, they are essential for helping to track your academic progress and anticipate where you might need help. If you don't have experience with assessments at an academic level, there's no need to worry. Your tutors and the Academic Support team are there to guide you with support and constructive feedback.
Study Skills Support
Learning how to write academic essays and reports, reference correctly, and deliver engaging presentations are all key components of academic study. We provide study skills classes and seminars throughout the academic year, in addition to one-to-one sessions with your tutor or another member of the Academic Support team.
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
Our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is designed to provide you with online lectures and access to study materials and reading lists. This is also the place to find your assignment briefs, lecture slides, module handbooks, guidebooks, and other important material.
